MY 1st BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

WOW I turned 1 year old this week. I've had a very exciting couple of weeks too. It all started when Mummy and Daddy took me to get my first haircut. My hairdresser Nikki was great and managed to cut my hair even though I found it hard to sit still.

Next, Mummy, Daddy and I went to Adelaide for Uncle Cameron and Aunty Jodie's wedding. It was a great night (I heard). Aunty Jodie looked just beautiful and Uncle Cameron and Daddy were very handsome in their kilts.

While we were in Adelaide, I had a birthday party at Great Grandma and Grandpa Ellery's house with all my Adelaide friends and family. I even had a little party and Grandma and Grandpa Page's house with Aunty Karen and Declan. Grandma Page made me a Humpty Dumpty cake. It was yummy.

On Thursday it was my Birthday. 1 year old already! Gee time flies. I got lots of cool toys from everyone, I especially like my Roll'n'roar Dinosaur. Mummy even let me have cake for breakfast. It was delicious.

Today, I had all my friends over to celebrate. We had a great time playing outside while Mum and Dad had a BBQ with all the other parents. Mummy made me a Koala cake, he looked SOOOO fluffy, and he tasted good too. It has been an exhausting day and now I'm ready for bed. I hope all my birthdays are this exciting.

Grace's 1st Birthday Party

What a week! Last weekend, Mummy, Daddy and I went to my friend Grace's 1st Birthday party. She had a wonderful party with lots of her family and friends there, she even brought her pet lamb Cassie!

We had a wonderful time. Aunty Allison had made a great cat cake for Grace, it was very yummy. We all had lots of party food and enjoyed some fairy bread for a treat - gee those hundreds and thousands get everywhere!

Sunday was my first Father's Day. I gave Daddy a "Beer Bible", a HUGE toblerone and some beer. We spent the day at our new house where Daddy plastered the kitchen ceiling, Mummy painted the study, and I generally explored, and ate any interesting objects found on the ground.

Next weekend we are going to visit everyone in Adelaide, I can't wait. I am going to have a birthday party at Great Grandmas house, and I even get to have a sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa Page's house while Mum and Dad go to Aunty Jodie and Uncle Cameron's Wedding. It's going to be a BIG weekend again.
