It's Been a Long Time....

Hello everyone,

Well, it's been a while since I wrote her 'cos I have been SOOOOOO busy. Mummy and Daddy and I moved into our new house. It's been very exciting. They have been doing lots of sanding and painting the last few months getting the new place ready to live in, I even helped too.

We finally moved in on the 27th of October. Grandma and Grandpa Ellery came over to help Mummy and Daddy clean the old house and settle everything into the new one. They all did lots of work, and now the place looks great.

I have been busy at childcare learning how to brush my teeth this month, which is a good thing, because I have just got 3 new teeth! I'm still a bit lop sided though with 6 teeth on the top and now 3 on the bottom.

Well I must go, it's time for my bath, check out the "Bubble Afro" daddy gave me the other night! It was so funny!

MY 1st BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

WOW I turned 1 year old this week. I've had a very exciting couple of weeks too. It all started when Mummy and Daddy took me to get my first haircut. My hairdresser Nikki was great and managed to cut my hair even though I found it hard to sit still.

Next, Mummy, Daddy and I went to Adelaide for Uncle Cameron and Aunty Jodie's wedding. It was a great night (I heard). Aunty Jodie looked just beautiful and Uncle Cameron and Daddy were very handsome in their kilts.

While we were in Adelaide, I had a birthday party at Great Grandma and Grandpa Ellery's house with all my Adelaide friends and family. I even had a little party and Grandma and Grandpa Page's house with Aunty Karen and Declan. Grandma Page made me a Humpty Dumpty cake. It was yummy.

On Thursday it was my Birthday. 1 year old already! Gee time flies. I got lots of cool toys from everyone, I especially like my Roll'n'roar Dinosaur. Mummy even let me have cake for breakfast. It was delicious.

Today, I had all my friends over to celebrate. We had a great time playing outside while Mum and Dad had a BBQ with all the other parents. Mummy made me a Koala cake, he looked SOOOO fluffy, and he tasted good too. It has been an exhausting day and now I'm ready for bed. I hope all my birthdays are this exciting.

Grace's 1st Birthday Party

What a week! Last weekend, Mummy, Daddy and I went to my friend Grace's 1st Birthday party. She had a wonderful party with lots of her family and friends there, she even brought her pet lamb Cassie!

We had a wonderful time. Aunty Allison had made a great cat cake for Grace, it was very yummy. We all had lots of party food and enjoyed some fairy bread for a treat - gee those hundreds and thousands get everywhere!

Sunday was my first Father's Day. I gave Daddy a "Beer Bible", a HUGE toblerone and some beer. We spent the day at our new house where Daddy plastered the kitchen ceiling, Mummy painted the study, and I generally explored, and ate any interesting objects found on the ground.

Next weekend we are going to visit everyone in Adelaide, I can't wait. I am going to have a birthday party at Great Grandmas house, and I even get to have a sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa Page's house while Mum and Dad go to Aunty Jodie and Uncle Cameron's Wedding. It's going to be a BIG weekend again.

Fun with Grandma Page

Well. I've had a VERY exciting week this week. First I went to the indoor playground with my friend Grace and Lachlan. We had a wonderful time playing on all the toys and in the big ball crawl.

Then later in the week, Grandma Page came over to look after me while Mummy was at work 'cos Daddy was away in the snow skiing. We had such a good time together! We went for big long walks to the shops, played with my guinea pigs Cocoa and Lizzie and she even helped me to learn how to stand myself up.

Yesterday, we went over to visit Aunty Allison and Grace to see their new 1 week old Lamb Cassie (short for Casserole). She was beautiful, with a little wiggly tail. Grandma and I even got to feed her a bottle of milk! She was very hungry and wouldn't even share it with me.

Next week is Grace's 1st Birthday party. I can't wait to go and celebrate with her. I will make sure I take lots of photos to share with you all.

How to Use a Spoon For the First Time

Right. I've got on my brand new mega bib/smock with cowboys on it.

I'm in my highchair.

Food is cooking.

OK. I'm ready to feed myself with a spoon for the first time.

I think I did pretty well, don't you?

Happy Birthday Mummy

Today we went out to celebrate Mummy's 30th Birthday. We celebrated with our friends Lucy, Sean and Alannah as well as Natalie, Shane and Lachlan. Lucy (in the middle) is VERY pregnant and is hopefully going to have her baby tomorrow. Fingers crossed I will have another little friend to play with soon.We had a wonderful lunch after my swimming lesson at the Sailor's Rest on the Waterfront in Geelong.

I have been enjoying my swimming lessons much more this term. I am new in a new class where all the other babies are younger than me and haven't been before, so I am showing them all how it's done. I especially love it when daddy blows bubbles in the water at me and the "blast off" when he throws me high in the air and we splash back in the water together.

Tomorrow, Mummy, Daddy and I are going to the new house to start some painting. I can't wait.

Fun at Schouten House

Hello,

Welcome to my Show and Tell, where (with Mum's help) I can keep you all up to date with my adventures.

For my first post I'll just show you a quick photo of me in Tasmania with Uncle Cameron and Aunty Jodie in their wonderful Bed and Breakfast - Schouten House. I had a great time playing with Aunty Jodie's cats George and Irving (Irving was a little bit scared of me). I thought George was WONDERFUL, and now can't wait for a kitten of my own.

I'm now back home and enjoying time back at Childcare playing with my friends. I am getting lots of practice at standing with my new activity table and my new teeth ( I now have 6! 2 at the bottom and 4 at the top) are giving me lots of new experiences with food.

That's all for now. I'll write again soon.
